Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress most commonly known for her part as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she is a drama teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences when she was at rehearsals for play with her mom. Silk appeared as a little model in a commercial. She was in 1997 when she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. In 2009, the couple were wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk had a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the finale of the third season. The actress announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she is ready to resume working. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the final season of production. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Because of the show's popularity, Silk has gained a large online following on social media.
