Sutton Foster is an award-winning performer, dancer and actor who has performed in 11 Broadway shows, including the revival of Violet and the originating roles in the Broadway performances that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles on Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Sutton Foster first appeared on television on Star Search at age 15, and has more recently been seen as a character in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU and Royal Pains. Sutton Foster performed as a solo artist across the US and also internationally together with Michael Rafter. Sutton's debut solo album "Wish", along with"Wish" and the "An Evening With Sutton Foster" Live at the cafe Carlyle CD were featured in. Ball State University conferred her with an honorary doctorate in 2011. In addition to being an advisor and professor at the Department of Theatre and Dance and Dance, she also received this degree by Ball State University.
